Peru and Bolivia

I think I haven't yet published this here at my blog.
From July 7th to August 12th I won't be at home...I am going to Peru and Bolivia to see how people are doing there and to take some pic of people and landscape.
I will be traveling with an expirienced backpacker Simona, she has alrealdy seen lots of places on the Earth.
Fot that occasion I have already bought new, walk around lens (Canon EF-S 17-85 IS 4.5-5.6, circular polarizer and remote switch).
I hope I will be able to make some really great photos like those when I was at North America (USA).
But before leaving, in this minute I am late for friend's weeding where I am official photographer. I guess I will show some weeding pictures here too ;)

This is pic from last weeding where I was official photographer

Rescue mission

Yesterday my niece Loti found 2 little birds (my mum said they were Šmarnica birds) on a ground. They fell from the nest which is above house's entrance door.
Birds were really tiny ones and I guess they were learning how to fly. While I was chasing them to catch them to put them back in the nest they jumped from a "little cliff" and successfully landed :)
My niece was really excited, so I gave her my gloves, so she could hold one of them for a while.
Of course I took some photos of a birds and my niece.
After photosession I climbed ladder and put little birds back in the nest and wished them success at their next flying attempt :D
I hope they won't fall into any cat's claws...

Pariz in Bruselj

Čas mi kradejo vse mogoče aktivnosti...plezanje, smučanje, demonstriranje, vodništvo, poroke, fotografiranje, tekme in sevede zraven še služba.
Če koga to moti, ga pač naj :P
No, v začetku aprila sem bil 4 dni v Franciji in Belgiji.
Res me je navdušil.
Zelo enostaven in izredno hiter način transporta. Logiko podzemne železnice sem osvojil v 10 minutah (vaaa, ka sm js pametn in dojemljiv...hahah).
Nina, hvala za super izlet in gostoljublje v Bruslju. Super je blo. To morma še kdaj ponovit!!
No, o lepoti Pariza in nekaterih drugih motivih presodite bralci sami.

I was flying today! I want more...

Yesterday, my friend Oki invited me to go with him up in the air today...to fly with his father's ultra light plane.
Of course, I couldn't refuse that offer.
In the morning we checked weather conditions (clear, no wind), so we sat in the car and went to the Slovenj Gradec Airport.
First we had to check all vital components of a plane then we embark into the cockpit. Oki performed starting procedures and after warming the engine we were airborn in about 15 seconds.
First we were flying in the direction to my home village to see my house from the air, then we continue to Šoštanj and Velenje, then to see Celje from the air. Afterwards we followed Savinja river upstream to Mozirje, Ljubno...Then we entered in area above Logarska valley. We admired the beauty of our mountains.
We were so enthusiastic that we almost enetered Austrian air space by mistake...in that case we would probably get an escort of an Austrian army fighters.
We flew parallel to Olševa summit (but on Slovenian side) to get to Črna na Koroškem, Žerjav, Mežica and Ravne na Koroškem. Then just over the little hill and we saw Drava river and Dravograd city. From there is just minute or two to Slovenj Gradec and from there it takes few minutes to safe landing at Slovenj Gradec Airport.
As you can see in the title of this post, I enjoyed this flight very much although it was occasionaly quite bumpy due to north-east wind which was blowing at heights (on the south-west faces of the hills air expands and develops lots of turbulences).
Oki, I want some more ;) Hehehe... Thanks for today!!

Ohh, pictures are not very good because I couldn't use my polarizer...the windshield and all other windows on the plane are made from polycarbonate glass and if I tried to take a photo with polarizer on, I got strange and ugly rainbow on the pic.... :(

what a nice little plane ;)

The last part of Scandinavian "adventure"

Ohh, it's a record...yes, I have a personal record in time I needed to "compile" new post :( Sorry for that delay. Well, I couldn't prepare myself to do it. But now I have passed this crisis!
I still owe you the end of a Sweedish trip story. It goes like this:
After we got back from our "little" trip, I spent a day or two (don't remember really) at Neva's University Campus. Then I decided for a small road trip to the Gjovik to visit an old friend Marte(we worked together in Gorenje few years ago). Neva borrowed me her car and in the morning I started to drive. It took me 10 hours to get there (about 700km away). The reason for such a long driving time was in regional roads I mainly used to get there. The speed limit at Norway on those roads is 80km/h.
It was so great to see Marte after 3 years (I think). We had some really good conversations (lots of stuff happened in last three years).
Next day I went to visit Lillehammer where the winter Olympic games were happening in 1994.
Lillehammer is a small city, nothing special. I went on a little hike from town center to nearby hill to see ski jumping center. It's somehow big ski jump, but incomparable to the ski jump we have at Planica. But it is in so much better shape ;) Slovenians know what I mean ;)
I also visited the largest underground hall which has been excavated to provide proper ice hall for Olympic games ice-hockey tournament.
In the evening Marte and her friend Rebecca prepared delicious baked rabbit. They also invited one of their friend (I have forgotten his name) to join us.
The following day (in the afternoon) we (Marte, Rebecca, their Asian friend-I have also forgotten his name and from where he is, and I) went to the small lake where we started a fire and then we bbq some frankfurters and basic bread. It was nice to sit in around fire without being afraid someone would catch you while doing this. In Slovenia is prohibited to start a fire on a land of which you aren't owner.
That is mainly all about trip to Norway.
Next morning I stared driving to the Neva's place (Linkoping) and in the middle of next night to the Skavsta airport (by bus) and then through London to Maribor by plane (RyanAir).
Have fun.
